Emma experienced her first ride on a train on Sunday the 7th of December. We took her on the Polar Express train in Newport. It was a great time and she really enjoyed it (so did Mommy and Daddy). They set it up really nice. They read the story throughout the beginning of the train ride and then we sang Christmas carols and had hot chocolate and cookies. After that Santa came and gave Emma a silver bell. It was just like the book/movie and I am really glad we were able to take her. She was so tired from all the excitement that she passed right out as soon as we put her into her car seat.

Sounds like you have a lot on your hands between new house, baby, job, and getting through Christmas. So glad to see Newport had a Polar Express and it was worth the trip.
