22 Months and a very special playdate!

Yesterday Emma turned 22 months old. Only 2 months and she will be 2. We can not even believe how quickly the time has past. Today was also a very special day for Emma because she got to have a play date with Ella. Ella is the daughter of one of Robert's childhood friends Jay. We don't get to see them but twice a year because they live in GA so this was a really nice visit for the girls. They were so cute together. Winter Carnival 2010

Today we arrived home from a nice long weekend in Saranac Lake, NY. Every year for the last 5 years Robert and I have been going to the winter carnival held in Saranac Lake. This year was Emma's first trip to the carnival. It was a great time and she had a blast. We didn't do much but it was nice to just get away as a family. We did enjoy a dog sled ride on Mirror Lake in Lake Placid as well as day outside playing in the snow. Sunday was Valentine's Day and what better way to end the day off than with fireworks. It was a wonderful weekend.
