Pumpkin Carving

Well we continued the tradition again this year of carving pumpkins. Every year since Robert and I have been together we have always carved pumpkins. Since Emma has come into the picture I decided that I would carve a pumpkin every year just for her (of course until she's old enough to do it herself) with her favorite thing. Last year I carved Elmo and this year I carved Ariel. She was so excited to see the pumpkin this morning. Just seeing her face was well worth all the effort I put into it.

18 months have past

Wow, we really can't believe that Emma will be 18 months on the 24th. Where has the time gone. She is doing great, and as you can see getting so big. Robert swears she weighs 30lbs but I don't think so, I am thinking 27lbs but we will see on November 2nd when she goes for her 18 month check-up. Here are few pictures of Emma taken over the past few weeks.

Apple Picking

On October 11th Me, Emma, Auntie Shara and Jacob headed out to CN Smith Farms in East Bridgewater for a fun filled day of apple picking, hayrides, pony rides and more. What a difference this year to last year. This year Emma was able to walk all by herself and hold her own apple bag, as well as pick her own apples. She had a blast, and of course Jacob was a big help in assisting Emma. It was a great day. Here are a few pictures from apple picking. Enjoy!

I Love my family

What a great weekend we had. Friday night Emma and I visited with Auntie Shara, Uncle Frank and Jacob at their new house. It is really nice and while Emma and Jacob played, Shara and I were able to get some unpacking done. On Saturday we had a nice day. Robert worked till 12 then we just relaxed as a family and spent some good quality time together. I made a nice roasted chicken (you gotta love the fall all this wonderful cooking going on) for dinner and then we played with Emma some more and then it was off to bed. On Sunday we had a nice family breakfast, Daddy cooked eggs and bacon and then it was off to see Toy Story 1 and 2 in 3D. Robert and I didn't know how well Emma would do considering it was her first time to the movies and she is only 1, but we thought with a little luck we would get through it so we gave it a go. She did great. She sat in her own chair most of the time and had some popcorn with Mommy and Daddy. We made it through all of Toy Story 1 and half of Toy Story 2. We ended the night off with a nice fire in the backyard fireplace where we sat and toasted marshmallows and relaxed. It was a wonderful weekend.
